In addition to overseeing the team in Australia and New Zealand, Mike sits on the board of portfolio companies including Hysata, AMSL Aero, Electralith and Additive Assurance.

Travis Baroni

Chief Advisor Battery Minerals - Rio Tinto

Travis is the head of technology for Rio Tinto’s battery materials group. He leads a team conducting studies on several growth projects within the Rio Tinto portfolio and leads the technology development program for the group.

Travis also sits on the Board of a listed medical device company with 5 FDA approved and regulated devices and has work in financial services and investment banking focused on metals and mining equity capital markets transactions, valuations, and research.

Callum Benson

Callum has spent his career at the intersection of deeptech and commercialisation. He has extensive experience working in and with deep tech startups, in a commercial role in a high growth startup in the UK and establishing and investing in spinouts from the University of Cambridge, and more recently Monash.

He has worked across a range of technical areas including Physical Sciences, Software and MedTech with a particular sector focus on Climate Tech.
